Suitability
Hoyle Road originally opened its doors in 1985 as a much smaller
property and in 2000 we bought the adjoining property which we converted to the property we have today. We’ve also added
a conservatory which is popular with residents and their family and friends alike.
Hoyle Road provides ideal accommodation for people who wish to live independently
but want the benefits of living within a community that provides daily support if required. It boasts lovely gardens and is
on two floors. There is a lift and a stairlift serving the upper floor. We have 3 one-bedroom flats consisting of bedroom
with en-suite, lounge & kitchen area. The remaining seven rooms consist of one room, en-suite bathroom and kitchen area.
Hoyle Road is suitable for people
with a reasonable amount of mobility (with or without walking frames). There is a live-in housekeeper who is available from
morning until early afternoon. Residents take care of their own breakfast and tea (food provided by Abbeyfield) and the housekeeper
takes care of the main meal at lunch time. This is served in the main dining room and is a great opportunity for everybody
to meet and chat.
Entertainment
is also provided in the main lounge which is organised by our enthusiastic volunteers. This is not only for the benefit of
the residents but also their friends and family to join in with too.
