Lear house
is situated just outside the centre of West Kirby on the South coast of the Wirral peninsula. West Kirby is
a thriving village which attracts large numbers of visitors all year round to its marine lake and promenade as well as to
the large sandy beach.
Bus and
rail services are within a very short walking distance of the house and there is ample parking in the grounds of Lear House
which also has quite extensive gardens. The views from Lear House are magnificent looking out over the Mersey and Dee estuaries
to the coast of North Wales and to HilbreIsland, situated about four miles offshore.
Suitability
Lear House has 24 rooms on two floors. The upper floor is serviced by lifts. Each room has its own en-suite
bathroom and is large enough to accommodate some of the residents own furniture. This gives the resident a sense of home having
some of their own familiar things with them.
Lear House is a residential care home and is suitable for men and
women who need attention and support, during the night as well as by day with mobility, washing, dressing, toileting and feeding.
Our 24-hour service is supported by a team of well qualified and dedicated carers who are led by our Care Manager, who is
a qualified nursing sister and assessor of Higher National Vocational Qualifications.
